Let me tell you a story...

A compelling story evokes interest and emotion. It has the power to influence its audience; to awaken feelings and responses. A good story invites readers into it, and gives room for imagination and personalizing. Writing since her teenage years, Ann created the character Darion Rhys, from The Rising series, during an eight hour drive past bright yellow meadows and fields of purple haze. 'Darion was a girl who existed only in my imagination until the day she came to life on paper.'
